Located on Lasseter Hwy 100km east of Ayers Rock, the Severin family still offer the unique hospitality that has made them a legend in the NT. Open daily from 7am til late, the licensed Wayside Inn provides fuel, snacks and wonderful meals under the historic Bough Shed. A large aviary showcases native birds and they may even have a joey or two. Accommodation is available in budget or ensuite rooms. The campground has powered sites or free unpowered camping. You could decide to do a ½ day, sunset, tagalong tour to Mt Conner, or stay at the bush camp at the base of Mt Conner and climb the 'forgotten wonder' (weather permitting).
