| Cania Gorge is one of Queensland's best kept secrets, and home to Cania Gorge Caravan & Tourist Park, which is surrounded by 3000 hectares of National Park, with excellent bushwalking tracks. Children of all ages will delight in bouncing on the giant jumping pillow, or hand feeding the native birdlife at afternoon feedings. Outdoor wine tasting, movie screenings and open camp fires are also a very popular feature of the park. Lake Cania offers excellent fishing for the sportsperson, as well as an abundant supply of table fish. The Monto region is steeped in gold mining history, much of which can be explored by 4x4. |
