The magnificent convict-built country manor, Stanton, was built in 1817 on one of Tasmania's first land grant sites in the heart of the historical and beautiful Derwent Valley. The normal comforts of home are all here, but also the things you go on holidays for including beautiful rooms filled with antique furniture, open fires, fresh flowers, wonderful breakfast served on lace and Wedgwood china, silverware and crystal, but most importantly, cooked by someone else with no washing up.
