The Grandhouse York is a modern, spacious country accommodation escape situated in the scenic rural town of York. It is located near the bottom slopes of Mt Brown and is a 10min stroll across the old time swing bridge to the historic main street, Avon Terrace. There are many interesting things to see and do in York. Explore the buildings, restaurants/cafes, shops, car and residency museums, and take in the magnificent view over York from the Mt Brown scenic lookout to name but a few. Guests also have the opportunity to relax in our elegant lounge, with log fire, or in the outside garden gazebo. A private spa room is another wonderful way to unwind and let the cares of the world pass you by.
