Pop 752. (35km SE Adelaide). See map on page 02?14, ref B8. A small township with grazing and dairy farms, orchards and apiaries in the area. The town began in 1859 as a rural settlement of wheat farmers. Poor prices and yields saw a move into dairying. By the 1930s two cheese factories operated.
