Pop Part of Tennant Creek. (975km SE Darwin, 26km N Tennant Creek) Roadhouse situated at the junction of the Barkly & Stuart Hwys. On an adjacent site is the Reverend John Flynn tribute memorial cairn. After the WWII road trains became part of the Territory's transport system. A refuelling depot was established at Threeways to discourage these trucks from refuelling in Tennant Creek. The present roadhouse was opened in 1976.
