Pop Nominal. (188km SE Melbourne). See map on page 1?9, ref P19. Situated on Waratah Bay, it is reminiscent of a Cornish fishing village. Overlooks Cape Liptrap Coastal Park and Wilsons Promontory. Named after the Commissioner of Customs, Melbourne 1880. Lime kilns were built here to provide quicklime to Melbourne and Sydney from the supply that lined the foreshore.
