Easy walks to beaches, rocky cliffs, secluded coves and rock pools or venture into the Freycinet National Park for more lengthy walks to Wineglass Bay. For the more adventurous a full day walk to Cookes Beach is worth it or walk the whole peninsula in 2-3 days. You can drive to Sleepy Bay 3km, Bluestone Bay 5km and Cape Tourville Lighthouse 4km. Friendly Beaches rounds out the national parks experience with wide expanses of white sand dunes and ocean beach. Nearby Moulting Lagoon is a wildlife sanctuary where a great number of black swan and wild duck can be seen.
